We are proud and excited to be working with the wonderful people at The Seed Fund once again this year looking for the food and drink stars of the future.
Now in its 8th year, The Seed Fund supports and nurtures budding entrepreneurs. Following a nationwide search, 12 finalists will be selected to join The Seed Academy – an exclusive summer programme offering insight into all areas of business from brand design and marketing, distribution and finance – and offered the chance to exhibit at The Speciality and Fine Food Fair in September.
One finalist will be chosen as overall winner and receive £100,000 worth of brand development and on-going expert advice to grow and develop their brand. Entries are open to small producers who have won a Great Taste award in the previous year as well as aspiring start-up businesses trading for less than 4 years with an annual turnover of less than £1million. With a growing consumer demand for food and drink businesses to be ethical and sustainable, The Seed Fund is particularly keen to hear from brands who have undertaken any socially responsible initiatives.
Once again, at the end of the Academy, we will be hosting the finalists at our offices in Notting Hill, giving them the opportunity to test their vision and business plan with a group of leading food and drink leaders who have successfully grown challenger brands.
Entries close at midnight on April 1st 2020. Please pass this on to any founders that you think would find this of interest.
