Piper became a signatory of the Investing in Women Code in 2022
Piper is committed to a culture of inclusion and to advancing access to capital for female entrepreneurs. Being founded by a female entrepreneur means we have long been committed to investing in women and we are proud to have a track record of investing in women led businesses.
Piper has nominated Dan Stern (partner) to be responsible for supporting equality in all my organisation’s interactions with female entrepreneurs, however Piper expects every team member to treat female entrepreneurs with the equal respect they deserve.
In order to improve female access to funding, Piper will provide a commonly agreed set of data about my organisation’s investing activities and about its own staff and leadership team to an industry body designated by BEIS, on the understanding that BEIS will collate this data and publish it on an aggregated and anonymised basis in an annual report
Piper has internal practices that aim to improve female entrepreneurs’ access to the tools, resources and finance they need to grow their businesses, working with relevant players in the ecosystem, and review these practices annually.
