We are delighted to welcome Chloe Harris as our new Investment Executive.
Chloe joins Piper with a strong track record in advising and supporting fast‑growing consumer brands. She spent the past five years at PwC in London, progressing rapidly to Manager within the firm’s Deals practice. During this time, she worked closely with founders and leadership teams on a range of high‑profile transactions in health and wellness, travel, and premium drinks – sectors closely aligned to Piper’s purpose of helping consumers live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
At PwC, Chloe supported well‑known consumer brands including Comfort Click, Au Vodka, and Holiday Resort Unity. This experience gives her a solid grounding in how consumer brands scale and the different paths founders can take at key stages of their growth.
Beyond deal activity, Chloe has taken an active role in championing innovation and culture. She was a Deals AI Champion at PwC, supporting teams to adopt tools such as ChatGPT to improve the quality and pace of work. She also led team initiatives, including training and integrating new joiners in India into live deal teams.
We’re excited for the energy, curiosity and expertise Chloe brings. She will work across sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the investment and due diligence process.
In what has become a Piper tradition, we asked Chloe to answer a few questions to give you a bit more insight.
Why did you join Piper?
Piper has a brilliant reputation in consumer investing, but what really drew me in was the team. From the first time I visited the Notting Hill office, I got the sense that Piper is warm, collaborative, and genuinely founder-first, and so far, Piper really does live up to this reputation. I am excited by the long-term, minority approach to investing and the opportunity to help build brand legends alongside people who care deeply about both the businesses and the people behind them.
Which Piper brands do you love?
Out of all the amazing Piper brands, NEOM and Borough Broth really stand out to me as I love how product-led they are at their core. Without even realising it, NEOM candles and balms have become part of my daily routine, while Borough Broth is a great example of a brand taking something functional and elevating it through quality, delicious taste, and thoughtful branding.
Are you particularly excited about any developing sectors?
I am excited by the growing focus on functionality within the food space. As someone who loves cooking and trying new local restaurants, I have found myself increasingly drawn to products that not only taste great but also make me feel good (both now and hopefully in 20 years!). I have also become increasingly aware of the effects of ultra-processed foods, which has influenced how I, and many other consumers, think about everyday nutrition. I am enjoying seeing more brands responding to this shift with transparency and strong product integrity.
We talk about building brand legends at Piper. What does that mean to you, and do you have any favourite British brand legends?
To me, building a brand legend is about creating something with real longevity. It’s about earning trust over time through an exceptional product, a clear proposition, and a deep understanding of the customer. I think for a brand to become a legend, its customers have to return instinctively, week after week or year after year. Innocent is a great example of this in the UK. It has managed to scale while retaining warmth, clarity of purpose and a genuine connection with its customers, which is something I really admire in consumer brands.
At Piper, Chloe has joined our Wellness & Personal Care, Beauty and Food & Drink sector teams. If you’re growing a brand in these sectors and want to speak, her email is chloe@piper.co.uk.
