Ajay joined the Piper Advisory panel in 2021. As an ex-Amazon Vice President, he brings a wealth of eCommerce knowledge to the table, with experience in pure plays and multi-channel retailers. During his nine years at Amazon, he led on scaling multiple categories and held global roles including launching Amazon Fresh in Europe/Asia.
As CEO of Matches Fashion, he helped stabilise the business during the challenging period of COVID and Brexit. Prior to his pure play roles, he launched three eCommerce businesses within multi-channel retailers and was a director within Kingfisher and Home Retail Group.
Ajay’s current portfolio focuses on eCommerce and digital transformations and includes roles as Senior Advisor to KKR and other digital advisory and board roles. Ajay has been active in non-profit work for over a decade and is now Vice Chair at the Prince of Wales’ Charity In Kind Direct.
